Overheat issues with batocera 5.11 running on RP3

I recently updated to version 5.11 on my raspberry pi 3, but I'm seeing some overheating even while navigating in the menu. I played Zelda Ocarina of Time like 10 mins and then went to navigate ES menu, and the temperature was above 70ºC. Is there a way to fix this issue? Thanks

The problem is that after playing N64 (for example, Zelda Ocarina of Time) I begin to get overheat warnings on the Raspberry since it reachs over 80°C temperature.

My question is if this could be a "known issue"? If not, then it could be a problem related with my raspberry/case/heat sinks.

Nevermind, you can close this one... It seems that my heatsink was faulty... I removed it and the overheat warnings are gone... Sorry about that!

Add a new heatsink and a cooler.

you need to add a heatsink and a cooler ! (the cooler is very important ! Only this can help you to down the temperature !)

luizthiago Thanks you! I ended removing the heatsink (probably a cheap one... because it seemed to be worsening the problem) and adding a fan, now my temperature it's around 60 and 68° even after 2 hours of playing N64. I'm using a NESPI CASE for my raspberry 3

Hello, just a question...
We can see on this video, that there is a left analog and a right analog in the gamepad configuration menu. This allows you to play the Nintendo 64 correctly with a n64 USB controller.
Why is not possible to configure 2 analog in Batocera? Does it depend on Retroarch or emulationstation?

personnally, i added nothing, i don't get a notification indicating a too high temperature.
