Dreamcast .cdi roms in 5.14

Hi,

I played with batocera since 5.09 version, but now I have a problem with .cdi roms in dreamcast emulator in 5.14 version. When I choose a game that is a .cdi file, only the black screen appear and sometimes I need power off for reinitialize my retro videogame. The most of my favorite rom games are .cdi and the only rom that run in 5.14 version that i download recently is a .gdi and works perfectly. Is this a configuration problem or we have a version problem?

leonardogo I have an raspberry Pi 3 and in 5.14 i'm playing the .CDI files normally in this version ....

Maybe, the BIOS files for DreamCast is missng like the DinDon83 says ....

Try to verify your BIOS files or, if the problem persists, make a new fresh installation to test ....

DinDon83 No, I don´t put anything in BIOS part of Batocera OS, only roms in \batocera\share\dreamcast\, as formerly in the past versions.
I will doing the 5.14 fresh installation now like luizthiago told.

When finished, I´ll put result

leonardogo I agree with my friend luizthiago you need the bios obligatorily 🙂

leonardogo I recomend you a Bios Package with all Bios systens to batocera, then, this problem can be solved easely .... (the Bios packages was small size, about 30 MB or aprox.)

I'm playing Sonic Adventures 1 / 2 ( .CDI format ) in my raspberry pi with 5.14 and found no problem about this ...

The unique thing i have noticed has : No has save States with hotkeys in DreamCast ....only normal save in memory card (VMU) ..... i'm sad about this .... 🙁

If we're talking about BIOS on 5.14, is that normal that BIOS files hadn't the same MD5 in 5.13 and 5.14 ?
BIOS working on 5.13 isn't in 5.14, so for now, I prefer to stay on 5.13 instead of updating.

I have not played the DreamCast in 5.13 or older versions, never...so, i can not say if this was working well before 5.14 ...

I'm in 5.14 , with all bios packages and this is working very well to me....

plus: The date / time setting even if an open the games is no more a "ploblem" in 5.14 too, because it's not occuring now !

I've updated to 5.14 with ancient working BIOS files, and now it's working fine....
WHY ARE YOU KIDDING ME ???

So, perfect for me, tried it yesterday on PSX, N64, WII & Gamecube.

DinDon83 friend, what games you are playins and has OK in Raspberry (DreamCast) emulator ?

In my case, some games not work, like "Looney tunes space racer" , "Wacky Races" and others ....

In other case, games like "Sonic Adventures" (1 and 2)" and other runs very well ...

Was talking about other console, I had issues with PSX, N64 & Gamecube w/out BIOS files.

And sometimes, it depends of the game too, on Gamecube, SW - Rogue Squadron 2 & 3 aren't working on Batocera 5.14.

Probably problem of 5.14 version ? a bug ?

Maybe, should see with denis for this point.
I'm not playing Dreamcast Game so I don't know if it's a bug or not.
