Kodi - subtitles and voiceless audio stuck on

So, was looking forward tonight to finally having my odroid run properly as a media centre. Got home and found all my videos with subtitles stuck on and also a weird audio mode where there's no voices, just background noise. I've been through all of the settings - everything is turned off that needs to be turned off.

With Kodi on the GameStation TUrbo image, when I paused the video, there were options to changer subtitles/aspect ratio etc in the confluence skin. However, when I pause video in batocera - these options aren't there... 🙁

So stuck with subtitled and voiceless videos 🙁

Any ideas?

it is theme dependant

No - i tried other themes - same problem in all themes.

ok. you have to install video/plugin/subtitle first.it's not by default. i could do that.
note that to get subtitle, i use the theme refocus and have to press ok of my remote to get them. i should map the button ok on the pad.

Ok - so just re-flashed the image and set everything up again and it's working fine. Possibly something to do with messing about with kodi themes.
