Odroid XU4 - HDMI to DVI

I'm trying to get the Odroid to work on an HDMI to DVI cable/adapter during setup. I've tried the setenv vout "dvi" in the boot.ini, but it doesn't seem to produce an output. My monitor shows a signal, but just a black screen. Is there a variation or different command needed in order to get this to work?

i don't know. i don't think it's directly related to batocera.
A good try : try with libreelec. If it works with libreelec, we can find what they did so that it works. if it doesn't work more, there is probably a special action to do with the odroid to put in theboot.ini

It's not related to Batocera but to the XU4. Tried several different OS but couldn't produce a signal on screen when using an HDMI to DVI or RGB converter. Unfortunately I haven't found a solution yet.

Are you sure it's not the cable? Are you able to get a picture from a different HDMI device?
