did you change your joystick since you generated the gcpadnew.ini ?

in the gcpadnew.ini file, your joystick name is "DragonRise Inc. Generic USB Joystick "
in the support script, there is no trace of it.

can you install it (just extract it on the usb key) and reboot.
and i'll tell you now we can find the origin of the problem (irc if possible)
