my problem with the existing scraping is that it is not really used because too time consuming.
personnally, i don't use it and i know some other people doing the same.
Automatic scraping is very nice while it's using checksum to be sure it's scraping for the correct games.
It gives me very good result.
However, i'm interested on people like you to find how to make the process better ?
1) keep both. Manual / automatic.
2) make the automatic process better : feel free to make it better :
/etc/init.d/S31emulationstation stop
/recalbox/scripts/recalbox-scrape.sh
/etc/init.d/S31emulationstation start
edit the file /recalbox/scripts/recalbox-scrape.sh to change options.
you can even make it configuration by getting options (like done for the language)
to use 3d covers, etc...
Batocera intend to be user friendly. This auto scraping changes all for me about scraping.
3) any suggestion for children modification ? block the main menu ? make a basic mode in which no configuration is makable except changing this mode ? somehting else ?
