I create this post so that people can follow it, be alerted when i push a test version, and be able to test new features / bug fixed.

leo_kendall my plataform is Raspberry Pi 3 , mini PC ...and the DeSmuME is realy slowly on this ...

I believe that the core of DraStic will work much better on this platform, since the emulator is well-flowed in other systems available for RP 3. However, I will not change my current system, as I am quite enjoying the batocera linux and I believe that in the future We can have the DraStic functional in stable OS version

I used the 7zip program to extract and did the process twice, which worked, and the update occurred successfully.

Sorry that unfortunately it really is not working well ... presents extreme slowness in the gameplay. I posted the video of youtube with the operation of DraStic because in the tests, it is perceived that it is doing very well for both simple games (2D) like New Super Mario Bros, both for more complex games like Mario Kart DS, in which both Worked extremely well on Raspberry Pi 3 with the DraStic core ....

Apparently DraStic is a more advanced emulator in terms of Nintendo DS, because even on Android I have it and works very well emulation!

Some DS games do not need the Mouse to play in no time or almost never, like the New Super Mario Bros and the Mario Kart DS, in addition to some others ... so I can play them on my smartphone with DraStic.
I understood that the software is third-party intellectual property, even because in android it gets paid ....

i tested desmume on pc, Mario Kart DS and MegaMan ZX, works fine, i tested touch for change nickname on Mario Kart it's ok, my pc http://imgur.com/a/50rli

On PC with good specifications, like yours, by the way the DeSmuME does very well and runs smooth the games. But on PCs like Raspberry that has simpler configurations, DraStic is better optimized, running smooth on Raspberry Pi 3 .... even heavier emulators like nintendo 64 are running fine on Raspberry Pi3 (I think the games Of the N64 are much heavier than those of Nintendo DS) ... however, the optimization of DeSmuME for Raspberry unfortunately is still not good ....

Sorry for RaspBerry PI 3, for now, only DraStic seems to be functional without slowness ... at least in my Raspberry Pi 3 it was very slow .. I do not know if there is any retroArch option that could improve the speed, I did not find "frame skip" etc to test ...

Por uma questão de o código do Drastic não ser aberto ele não quer adicionar, na verdade, o único que quis adicionar foi o retropie, é uma questão ética e ele não pode ser criticado por isto, mas ele disse que vai fazer um tutorial para que ele possa ser adicionado por fora do batocera, então, teremos a opção.

I'm interrested if somebody wants to test to create this tutorial, while personnally, i'm not really interested on it :
in 2 words :
1) download the file libretro_xxx.so for rpiX
2) connect to the batocera via ssh
3) mount -o remount,rw /
4) copy the .so file to /usr/lib/libretro
5) edit /recalbox/share_init/system/.emulationstation/es_systems.cfg, nintendo ds section to add this file as a libretro core
6) run /recalbox/scripts/recalbox-save-overlay.sh
7) reboot

Limit for changes is 50mb, when trying to add mame2010 (52mb) return an error, I successfully added bsnes for a test.

The reason DraStic is working very well in Emulation Station on other systems is simple: this emulator is designed to run well on Android's ARM architecture, so as Raspberry Pi3 has pretty much the same architecture, then it would work just fine.

For now, there is no development of a wiki for lay people to install .. who knows in some future, you can add it in a hidden way, as in Retropie so that we can install, if we wish

Does not work with Batocera 5.8. The core is automatically deleted when restarting and this line does not work /recalbox/scripts/recalbox-save-overlay.sh Error in line 20

The correct destination is /recalbox/share/system/.emulationstation/es_systems.cfg (File es_systems.cfg is missing. Therefore it is to manually add) and not /recalbox/share_init/system/.emulationstation/es_systems.cfg

Other bug :

When removing the only game available in a platform (example FBA) one obtains a black screen
