Time ago, I tried batocera... and I loved it.
But now, I've got the time to give it a second chance... and i still love it
Thing is... in and old ASUS ONE (atom 1.6, intel video,1gb ram) works perfect (except psx and n64, but i dont care those systems). Even kodi play movies on 720p without stutters.
On an old sencod laptop w/o lid, (apu e1 2100, 1,0ghz, 2gb ram, ati hd8230), ES is too slow.
On FAQ section:
Question: the system boots, but it's very slow !!!
Answer: not 100% of the computers are supported. When the interface is slow, it is because your graphical cards is not supported under Linux. There is nothing to do for this computer.
But video driver actually IS supported by linux. Works really well with lubuntu 16.04 (rpie, kodi, retroarch), so the graphical card is supported with opensource driver.
My question is. Is it possible, in near future improve the suppor on batocera? I love how straightforward batocera is
thank you, for all the work you made.
