ROMs are not persistent

I'm using RPi3+, batocera.linux 5.15 and followed the install guide, then uploaded via Samba ROMS. But these ROMs are not kept between reboots. I also used mount -rw and the overlay script, but the ROMs are not kept still.
I dont know what I am doing wrong, since I just copy ROMS to e.g. \batocera\share\roms\gb (from windows)

This comes from the fact, that the second partition was not initialized on the first boot due to power outage. Either delete the 3rd partition or - It is easier to reinstall the image.

I´m having the same issue. Nothing is persistent. I'm on version 5.16 on Pi3. I also use mount -o remount,rw on / and o /boot. Run the save overlay script. System remains the same after boot. Please, help.

arrfonseca the bad line is /share/recalbox on tmpfs
this is an emergency configurztion when :
batocera cannot mount your sdcard
generally because you shutted down badly when on the first boot it were formatting ie you didnt wait to get the es screen

or find on this forum the parted command (i already wrote it but i ve not it in head)

Does it have anything to the fact I'm saving image under a Exfat format since my card is 128gb?
I don't know what is the es screen (you mean emulation station?). Anyways, system boots correctly until screen where you can see systems and you can access config.
I think it can be a problem with the sd card...
Could not find the post with the parted command. Thanks anyways.

can you show me this ?
if p2 exists, can you try to mount it ?

parted -s -m /dev/mmcblk0 rm 2
is probably the good command to reset the data partition

Hey! Thanks you for this. I'm reformating and trying to burn again. Then I'll run commands you just shared. I think probably its a SD card corruption.

I've run the command
changed wifi and controller mapping
restart

Noted that batocera linux splash screen was doing it work again before ES. Nothing changed. I think I have a corrupt card. Will change it.

Thank you for your support. I´ve got a fake/corrupt card and that was my problem. Sorry for the trouble.

arrfonseca The fake or corrupted SDs give some problems , like this ...the files are not "writed" to sd , even it says OK ....

buy a new original SD and try again ...
