Settings got reset every time I restart or turn off/on Raspberry pi3

Here's something very odd that is happening to me.

Everytime I restart the Pi the system resets and all configuration and files are back to the original settings. Including files (I deleted those basic demo roms) and they keep comming back.

What should I do? I formatted the SD card (64gb class 10 San Disk) into FAT32 and the same issue happened. Tried again in exFAT and the same thing again .... im kinda lost here

you didn't wait the initialisation the first time you booted batocera. thus, the internal partition was not correctly initialized.

How much you have to wait? is there any indication or sign that the partition is done?
Once batocera is running I start getting controllers configured, and etc. connect to wifi, transfer roms to share folder. then I reboot. All process takes like 40 minutes.
I've installed lots of times from scratch and cannot get it to save any roms or configs! Please, any directions?

it is fast. some seconds. but if not done correctly at the first boot, you should reburn the sd, it is simpler than fixing it. batocera is made to never remove any data on any drive. in case of doubt it switches on a virtual disk in memory lost when you reboot

Hi guys, in my case, i has been trying a lot time the burning process, next start put sd card in my rpi3, next power on, and next i see the intro video, next the batocera logo, next the main menu, go to config, lenguage: change for other... next restart and .... NOT SAVED THE CHANGUES... what happend whit this?
I has been repeting the process and nothing, exist other process? Any manually?
Plis, i have a lot time with this... ;(

there is an issue when creating your data partition.
or : try an other sd card
or : burn, and shutdown properly the first time using the shutdown menu.

Hi, thanks for replys. I tested with other sd card scandisk 16gb and i have the same result...
I beleve that not exist support for raspberry pi 3 model b+ yet... 🙁

rpi3+ works for plenty of people.
do you know how to access to your rpi via ssh to help me to debug ?

I change sd by other and the result is the same.. this is my 3 try..
I have been searching internet support but, every forum talk about the resize problem in the first boot? What is this?
In my case, go to format sd card, next writte the batocera.img official download page, and next put in the rp3... with first boot refer all people?
The batocera begin normally, but change language by other, restar and nothing... i imagine that the same occurs with the rooms...

I did try this new image:
- format sd
- write image
- put sd in rpi3
- black screen
- next of 10minutes nothing...
- power off rpi3
- power on
- intro video
- main menu, change language, restart
- not save changes...

The result was the same... ;(

Could you try another SD-Card or wait longer then 10 minutes at the first boot?

I change my sd card by scandisk 16gb and adapter sandisk.
I have been trying with verbatim128gb and nothing... not work.
That bad loock, becose i did buy this sd by long size...
