any chance we get a S905-S912 version to do some testing before the release? maybe pending bugs should be similar to odroid C2 since use almost the same chipset

Good afternoon!
When starting the batocera 5.16 it is in black screen after the blue screen with the symbol of the baocera by the pem drive, or hd it is in a black screen and nothing appears but it is loading and never finished what it can be? in version 5.15 this does not occur.

I just tested the x86_64 version and unfortunately PS3 Controller mapping is still messed up.
In the previous 5.16 beta (5.16 2018/05/15 07:34), it had worked perfectly.
But in rc1 and this rc2 it is broken.

when entering the game works fine, when leaving with the shortcut select + start is on a black screen written (batocera.linux) and nothing happens, the kodi is working well, more when leaving the kodi gives the same problem screen black with the name of the batocera.

I'm using a rpi3b+ and this rc2 version is freezing with n64 and psx games. did not freeze with snes nor nes and did not test other systems. in mario kart 64 froze when i was playing and psx thps 2 froze when i entered the retroarch menu with xmb theme. in the rc1 version i had no such problem. sorry bad english.

@rubenjavier i will first release then, fix the s905.
i've issues too with the kernel c2.
@superMDMArio yes, same changelog. between rc, generally i just fix regressions.
@joinski i don't know. i think i didn't touch to it.
@VaGNaroK i've no issue with x86_64. can you get more information ?

something must have been changed.
In 5.15 and first pre-version of 5.16 the button-mapping of PS3-Controllers was correct.
But in rc1 and this rc2 it is definitley messed up (just tried rpi2 version from above).

nadenislamarre I think it was something isolated, I downloaded the image from here, put it on the pendrive and did not present the same problems mentioned above.

good morning. I was testing the new version of batocera 5.16 (2018-06-23) with the raspberry pi 3B:

1- fix the problem with the wifi connection (now it works)
2- The N64 emulator libre Mupen 64 Plus with the plugins GFX rice and NGlide 64 stops working (not so the muplen 64 gles that works OK)
lr-paralel works.
3-Advance mame does not work (does not load any game, here is my recommendation use the advance mame of recalbox 4.1 works excellent)
Mame 078 plus works excellent good emulator very fast
4-kodi works better than all versions that have had batocera, no errors when installing add youtube
5- the other emulators (megadrive, snes, pc engine etc.) do not present problems.

Good work keep it that way (mame 078 plus works of luxury, good choice)

i hope the new PPSSPP version ...maybe in the 5.17 coming soon ...

Maybe, this new version of PPSSPP can run more games smootly in the Raspberry Pi 3

I used the image for RP3 and there was an improvement regarding Kodi IPTV, but it still freezes after some time watching 1080p channels (PVR simple IPTV). Thanks a lot;

rrossilva The performance for 1080p channels begin freezing and stoping until the kodi stop works and close automatically, returning to the Emulation Station ...for you too ?

luizthiago With mine it freezes and I need to unplug/plug the power. Sometimes it happens in 15 seconds, sometimes in 5 minutes.

@nadenislamarre in the Main Batocera Linux website has the 5.15 version (oficial) , but, when i turn ON my raspberry, the update for 5.16 message comes out ...the 5.16 has the stable version now ?

I updated the 5.16 x64 batocera version and some emulators like the Atari 2600, 3rd are frozen and do not exit after pressing the hotkey and start.
