there are two way to do this.
1/ With another computer :
Use a sata/usb connector to access the hard drive you want to turn into batocera linux bootable drive.
Under windows, use "create a partition" in the control panel.
Select the drive and erase any existing partition.
Create a partition WITHOUT formatting (aka blank partition).
Use "win32diskimager" to uncompress the batocera linux img file onto the hard drive.
Plug your hard drive in your computer and boot : this will create the share partition in the remaining space of the drive
2/ With the computer you destinate to become a batocera linux computer :
Use a bootable usb key with "hiren boot cd" to boot into a mini winxp environnement
Under windows, use "partition magic wizard" in hbcd menu.
Select the drive and erase any existing partition.
Use "diskimage" in hbcd menu to uncompress the batocera linux img file onto the hard drive.
Reboot on your hard drive : this will create the share partition in the remaining space of the drive
