Can Batocera Linux run on Hyper-V?

Hi there,

I've noticed, while trying to boot on a Gen2 Hyper-V VM with "SCSI" disks, the kernel won´t mount the root filesystem. It seems it doesn´t detect the disks properly.

Even using legacy Gen1 VMs with "IDE" disks the result is the same.

There is also a message that says "unreliable clock detected" and added trace_clock=local as a kernel parameter, the message disappears but still the boot process keeps waiting for mounting /

Is there anything that can be done to run on Hyper-V?

even if you manage to boot (like i have already done on virtualbox for example) you'll not get the 3d acceleration.

Even if you have the VM configured with a RemoteFX 3D Video Adapter?, which of course is an emulated video card based on the physical one.

In my case, the physical video adapter is the integrated Intel(R) HD Graphics 530. When "presenting" it to the VM, you can specify some parameters like: amount o monitors, maximum resolution and dedicated RAM; in my case I specified 1, 1920x1200 and 1GB.
