Hello, is the OGST screen (N64 case for Odroid) supported?

I can Verify this works.. just tried it out with the 414 image fresh install, then installed to my external usb 3.0HD, copied some SNES and n64 games over, rebooted, then SSH'ed in and ran the above command, it rebooted.. and i have the batocera logo on the TFT, n64 logo works, as well as gameboy, and snes, that's what I've tried so far.

littlebalup i'm reviewing your package. on batocera, do you really need to override the current ffmeg ?

On recalbox there was an issue, with the old built in version, for some video to loop correctly (I'll give you the link once recalbox forum will go back from death...)
I didn't tryed the version from batocera... I only did the same thing than on recalbox...

Hello,
i did like the OGST screen support very much.
When i try to install the script (wget https://www.dropbox.com/s/b8s35z0p33al8e9/install.sh && chmod +x install.sh && ./install.sh) on V5.21 i only get a black screen after restarting the odroid.

Without using the install script i get an Image of Batocera on the OGST screen, but it never changes.

Did you stop supporting the OGST ?

Jack_n you need to use the image in the above post, 414 kernel, it won't work with 5.21.

I asked because in the 5.21 Version i had more Emulators working than in the Release with 414 kernel.

OGST screen support would be super great. batocera is the best retro gaming image for the xu4 but using it with the case seems like a waste atm.

5.23 includes a new feature to call script properly when you start/stop a game.
it should be included in 5.23 while it is easier.

I like batocera but I am using recalbox because of ogst.

Pour l'installation du script, j'utilise PuTTY, je me connecte en utilisant le login "root" et le mdp "linux"

L'installation génère 2 messages d'erreur qui indiquent une erreur d'écriture dans des fichiers systeme en lecture seule.
Mais se termine quand même par un message de réussite de l'installation.
Puis un dernier message de redémarrage imminent..................................sauf qu'il ne se passe rien, je tente donc un redémarrage classique c'est à dire depuis le menu de batocera, avec une manette.
J'obtiens l'écran blanc de fermeture.............................................................et ça bloque jusqu'à ce je force un redémarrage avec un appui long sur le bouton on/off

Au redémarrage, l'écran LCD s'allume, il affiche le logo de recalbox mais ce dernier reste constamment affiché, même lorsque je lance un jeu ou Kodi.

A priori, le problème d'écriture pendant l'installation doit sauter l'étape qui permettrai de modifier le comportement de emulatorlauncher.py, ................................ enfin, si j'ai bien compris ;-)

J'ai tout fait pour que ce soit ultra simple (une seule ligne de commande est c'est fait). Cependant il est nécessaire d'être connecté à internet pour que les téléchargements se fassent. Plus bas je donne les liens de téléchargement de l'archive et du script d'installation pour les curieux qui veulent bidouiller.

I really would like to buy a OGST case but since I use Batocera only on it, the TFT display support would be manditory.. I love batocera and bought the XU4 just for using it.. so PLEASE include it into the next release. I love the case and would apprechiate the full TFT support. You guys rock! 🙂 Merci beaucoup

Anyone get the OGST Screen working with 5.24? It seems to throw an error line 42: /recalbox/scripts/recalbox-save-overlay.sh: No such file or directory. I'd be willing to throw some money towards this if anyone can fix it.
