upgrade 5.15 on MACPRO 13 2010 craches

I upgraded from 5.14 to 5.17 on my 13-inch MACBOOKPRO 2010
and unfortunately it crashes.
I stay on a black screen after the first blue logo screen under black background ...
An idea to get me out of this "petrin"?

I dismounted the Mac and redid partial installations.
Conclusions:
The 5.17 and the 5.16 are crashing after the first screen with the logo on a blue background.
There is like a flash then nothing ...
Everything works perfectly until the 5.15 ...

Say, @adenislamarre, would not you have an idea please?

Hi, sorry for my english,
I have the same problem on Mac book pro 2009 but only with an external drive data. It works perfectly with data on internal drive.

Xbodin2 , I didn't get: did you wipe out your macbook drive, and installed batocera on top of it?

I have the same problem: 13-inch MACBOOKPRO 2010 stays on a black screen after the logo screen.
This happens with 5.16-17-18: upgraded from 5.15 (working) or fresh install; on flash key prepared with etcher, or external disk prepared from a working batocera (both 5.15 on mac, and 5.18 on pc 64).

For what I got, X crashes at boot. MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2010) mounts NVIDIA Geforce GT 320M which should support OpenGL 3.3.
@oomighoo: did you manage to solve it?

On the other hand, whenever I want to upgrade to 5.19 on any computer (I have lots of old laptops that I use for tests),
I do not have enough room on the BATOCERA partition.
I need to unplug the HDD, plug it into USB, delete the base file in BOOT / BOOT and replace it with the update ...
It's heavy!
