Hello everyone. Unfortunately I have problems with Batocera x86 (both 32bit and 64bit) from version 5.16. Most emulators start playing music but the screen stays dark. Besides, you could not leave the games and a reboot was required. Only the N64 emulator worked for me. In version 5.15 all emulators, for the former stage of development, worked great. I tried versions 5.16, 5.17 and 5.18 on different systems:
Notebook 1, a Targa Traveler 1524 X2 (AMD Turion X2 processor and ATI HD2400 graphics) >> Problem!
Notebook 2, an Acer 5741G (Intel I5-430M processor and ATI HD5470 graphics) >> Problem!
Notebook 3, a Lenovo R61 (Intel Centrino with on-board Intel 965 Express graphics) >> SNES emulator is running well!!
Computer 1, (an FM2 board with ATI A6 processor with integrated HD 7540D graphics) >> Problem!
Computer 2, (a Core2 Duo with NVidia GTX260 graphics) >> SNES emulator is running.
With Computer 2, I did a final test. I flashed a USB stick with Batocera 5.17, started the computer with the GTX260 until the menu was visible and tried out the SNES emulator. He worked. After that, I started the computer again and started the boot process with the phone. The video was 1: 30min long. Then I upgraded the GTX260 and an ATI RX1550. Flash the USB stick again and restart the computer in the menu. I started the SNES emulator and the phenomenon described above was observed. I rebooted the computer and picked up the phone. Here took the same starting process 3: 30min. As if something does not work. After a new conversion to the GTX260 no emulator starts with the USB stick and the old (ATI state). Even with the notebook 3, no emulator wanted to start with the USB stick in this state. As if something had "broken".
I hope you get that under control because I found Batocera.linux in version 5.15 just extremely good and I was really excited.
Thank you for your attention. Best regards Mirko
