PI 3B+ CPU frequency and MAME2010 Core

Hi,
I have from some days a Raspberry PI 3B +, taken mainly for emulation.
After testing other distributions I have chosen Batocera for ease of use and interface cleaning.
Really congratulations to the developer, it is incredible that he did all this alone.
I find this distribution perfect for my purposes, and I solved almost all the problems I encountered during the installation, also thanks to the help of this forum.
I have only a couple of doubts that I hope you can help me to solve.

First question:
Even though I have a rasberry pi 3b +, batocera sees it as a normal pi 3b, with initial clock settings of 1200Mhz. So is my raspberry running underclock or does it work at 1400MHz anyway? Can overclocking values be used for something? Should I set it to 1350 or leave it with default settings?

Second question:
I have configured 27 systems on EmulationStation, all of which work perfectly without jamming and at full speed. All except MAME games, for which I used the 0.139 romset with the MAME2010 core.
In reality, almost all games run very well, but there are some that inexplicably freeze the system. For example, Galaxian from Namco. It starts for a couple of seconds then ... freezes. Another example is Arkanoid; as soon as you use the mouse and press the right button to launch the ball... again the system freezes.
I use this romset with different android tvbox with retroarch and core MAME2010, and I've never had these problems, so the romset is ok.
I also tried to change SD card thinking it could be faulty, but in the end I only have problems with this core. All other platforms (FBA libretro, SNES, NES, SEGA CD, PC ENGINE etc.) run without any problem.
I know it would be better to use the MAME2003, but it is really too old and missing several of the games that I want to have and that I find in 139.

Sorry for the length of the post, I hope you can help me to solve these last settings to have the PERFECT Emulation System.

i guess there is a misunderstanding.
batocera is the result of work of a lot of people.

batocera is based on around 500 projects, including the linux kernel on which a big number of people work on, including a lot of emulators made by a lot of people : there are among the most important people, projects like retroarch, dolphin, pcsx2, ppsspp, mame, etc...
before i work on batocera, i worked on recalbox, and before i worked on recalbox, a man worked a lot to initiate the system.
there are regularly and permanantly other contributors, for example, since almost 1 year, airhead is working with me and is aligning as much work as i do
testers, and more generally people giving feedback does a big job.

1) overclocking on rpi3+ is not yet done correctly. it's in my todolist.
2) on all emulators, not 100% of the games are supported

Can you please be more precise for the point 1)?
If I leave the default overclock setting the cpu runs at 1200? Should I leave this setting or set it to 1350 (closer to 1400 natives)?

For the second point I can say from my experience that all the other cores, FBA Libretro included, work very well, all the games run like a charm, none excluded. Only the MAME2010 core has problems with some of them. I'll do other tests anyway and I'll let you know.

Meanwhile, I disabled the threated video option (from true to false) in the Retroarch configuration file. it did not solve the problem with MAME core but did not cause significant slowdowns on other platforms. Games run more smoothly.

Maybe your Pi3b+ is running at its native frequency (1400Mhz) already, but batocera just shows the wrong frequency?
What does Kodi say under System Information, Hardware, CPU Speed?

1) overclock settings applied are those of rpi3. thus, it's better to not change the overclocking on the rpi3+ for the moment.

2) video_threaded is now disabled in 5.19 to avoid issues.

I can confirm that default [none (1200MHZ)] its 1400mhz by kodi system information
so dont change is the best here if u change it will "downclock" the cpu (tested)
