alexiel78 hi guys !! i've got an arcade box and i want to put my odroid c2 in. controller is a panel, so how can i plug it with the odroid ? sorry for my english ... thanks !
Redfield You would need something like a ZeroDelay board, that connects your arcade buttons and joysticks to the Odroid via USB and acts as a HID. You can find them for pretty little money on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?odkw=zerodelay&osacat=0&from=R40&trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR8.TRC1.A0.H0.Xzero+delay+usb.TRS0&nkw=zero+delay+usb&sacat=0 Once connected all the buttons can be easily configured through Batocera's EmulationStation frontend.
alexiel78 thank you Redfield ! i'm not very good with all this, so if i undestrand : i had to plug these cables on the odroid's gpio ? is anyone knows a tuto, a video, a page, anything that can help to do it ? thanks again
Redfield Basically you connect your input devices (buttons / sticks) to the ZeroDelay board. The ZeroDelay board is then connected to the Odroid via USB and acts as a HID (human interface device) which means you can configure it easily in the EmulationStation frontend without messing around in config files (which you would have to do if you'd connect to GPIOs). Haven't seen a decent tutorial, yet. You may want to search for 'Galactic Starcade' on instructables.com to see how the cabinet is built, but I wouldn't recommend picking up such a project if you are a beginner.
alexiel78 Redfield hi ! thanks for your advices, it's a little more understanding for me now. Let's try !!
