Dolphin will not save controller settings on exit.
I used ALT+TAB to get into dolphin menu and changed settings but if i exit dolphin and enter another game the previous settings are gone.
I was able to map the hotkeys by editing /share/system/configs/dolphin-emu/Hotkeys.ini.

I also tried to change the controller settings in /share/system/configs/dolphin-emu/GCPadNew.ini but the file is overwritten when I open a GC game in dolphin.
I am using a MAYFLASH GC Controller Adapter and GC controllers.
Please help.

in fact, they are saved.
but when you start a game, batocera recreates this file according to your plugged device to configure it automatically.
in the future, i plan to be able to configure more precisely pads.
for the moment, only the autoconfiguration is available

Am I able to edit the GCPadNew.ini file and make it read only using the settings that I want? Or in the next build is it possible to add support for the Z Button (Button 7), Analog R (Axis 4-+), & Analog L (Axis 3-+) Buttons on the GC controller? Is it also possible to make hotkey quit START (Button 9) & Z Button (Button 7)?

A little bump.

I have almost the same issue with ds4 controller. Dolphin loads up the default config but my ds4 is not working then. When I change the controller type then it's working fine. But I need to reconfigure it every time.
Also What's more annoying I don't see mouse cursor can I fix this? I see the highlight from the cursor when hovering with mouse so that way I know what I am doing. When browsing trough f1 then is see the mouse cursor
