How to change roms path ?

Hi,

I finally installed Batocera as dual boot on a same SSD drive. It gave me an headache but it works. Now I would like to share the same Roms path between my Windows 10 operating system and Batocera. The Roms folder is a NTFS partition.

Is it possible to mount a NTFS partition at startup in Batocera ?
And then is it possible to replace /recalbox/share/roms to another directory ?

I renamed my Roms folder into a_effacer_Roms. Then I did a symlink using drag and drop with Shift+Ctrl pressed in PCManFM explorer. The created link opens the target folder and I was able to put and browse my Roms with PCMan FM on the NTFS partiton.

I wanted to refresh my Roms into Batocera's parameters menu. And the screen becames black for a long. I rebooted my computer. I started Batocera again. I seen the boot logo and the background picture and the screen is now back to black.

My install is Game Over. Fortunatelly I did a ghost of my SSD with HDClone, so I'm safe. It doesn't matter. I'll try to remove the link with a Linux Boot CD.

Thanks it works now.

Previously I did the symlink on my SNES folder.
Batocera recreated a /roms/snes directory additionally to my symlink.
So there was two "snes" entries. The folder and the link.
I think this is why the game list refresh was freezing.

This time I moved all the roms folder content to my NTFS partition.
And created a symlink called roms.

It's really cool. This trick optimizes my small SSD disk space 🙂
