This is a new install to 5.18.
I am having trouble getting a Realtek 8192 802.11n dongle working on a RPi 2. I have tried both the rtl8192cu and 8192cu modules (blacklisted rtl8192cu in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf with a disk overlay). The only way I can connect to the wifi is if I connect over wired ssh and manually start an unencrypted session with connmanctl.
The following does not work:
8192cu , encrypted automatic and manual startup, unencrypted automatic and manual startup.
rtl8192cu , encrypted automatic and manual startup, unencrypted automatic startup.
rtl8192cu unencrypted manual wifi startup does work.
Can anyone help?
An older version of recalbox worked fine on this same hardware.
