How to access to the SHARE partition

Hi,
I have a RPi with recalbox which works fine, as I want to test more powerful systems I installed Batocera on a USB Key (with Etcher on Mac), and then boot on the USB key (on the same Mac computer). At this point it is OK...
The problem is to have access to the SHARE (ext4) partition, which is invisible on my Mac even if I installed Fuse.
So I tried with my old computer with Ubuntu, which is OK the see the ext4 partition but I cannot write something on it (no permission).
Any one as an idea about how to proceed ? What is wrong here ?

Otherwise I'll try to delete the partitions and try something else with my USB key. Does it change something by selecting "external drive" for files (roms et others) ?

2 ways
- first, from ubuntu, it's true, you cannot edit, because ext4 rights applies. in some way, it's the "ubuntu fault" because as a user point of view, they should give more rights on external keys. you can however from ubuntu run "sudo nautilus" to be able to edit them
- an other way it from ubuntu press "f1", to access files, from the batocera (share) but at the same time, from the computer you are running on.

hello, sorry to up this post but i prefer use this than create a new one, i think it’s better to concentrate informations.

I would to know, there is no way to change permissions on the ext4 partition, by a safe way ?
I did a dual boot too, i prefer by exemple for dosbox and fs-uae have the emulator on my unbuntu OS, but i would to keep all roms on the batocera partition.
