RetroFlag Safe Shutdown

i have a SUPERPi CASE for pi3 and want to use the Safe Shutdown Button.

There is a special srcipt for batocera firmware

Save this as batocera_install.sh

I start batocera, put the script batocera_install.sh with sftp on th box
(put where? on the root or directory recalbox?)

Press F4 and then press ALT-F2 to enter the termial.

Use User:root and Password:linux

What have i to do next?

sudo batocera_install.sh or bash batocera_install.sh

I have same problem, ejecute this line in the terminal via ssh

wget -O - "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jucalize/retroflag-picase/master/batocera_install.sh" | bash

it works good.

It is this line that manages the on / off switch that interests us:; system.power.switch = PIN356ONOFFRESET # https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Add-a-start-stop-button-to-your-recalbox-(EN)
Simply remove it; in front of this line and save this change.

Restart your recalbox, the buttons on your box are now functional.

Here's how the buttons react:
on / off turns off or on the system
RESET:
-fast support in game: = reboot of the game
-Long support in game = return to the ES menu
-support in the ES menu (short or long) = System restart
SEEING :
flashes during system startup
fixed when the system is in operation

Hello,

You must use Putty to connect by SSH to your console, then you must type the line of code provided by Retroflag (
wget -O - "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jucalize/retroflag-picase/master/batocera_install.sh" | bash ), it will install some stuffs and then shutdown.

This is the only step, normally.

Connexion Putty :
Hostname : batocera
username: root
password: linux

I do thats and now when shutdown , emulators (psx etc) save memory card changes)... THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I only see differente funcion on power off button.

The reset button work only “hard reset”. Can i have other funcion for reset button?

I don't know how to remove the script but i think you don't need to because it works only with Retroflag PCB and should not interfer with other hardware.

I understand if i put swich off in retroflag motherboard , the script will be off.

installing the script has disbaled the bluetooth. any ideas why?
