Ps2 performance / X86 spec

Hi guys,

I wanted to post my specs and see if anyone had tips for better ps2 performance. I have a Pentium G4400 with integrated HD510 gfx, 4GB RAM, Asrock H110M-ITX Mobo. On Gamecube, I get very good performance for most games. But on ps2 a good chunk of games (MGS3, Burnout, Ace Combat to name some) run around 20 fps, at native resolution.

I just wanted to check if this was normal or if I could get better performance from another processor (LGA 1151)?

in 5.19, resolution can be lowered for a specific emulator, thus, i can increase performance.
an other way, sounds takes a lot of cpu on ps2, you can disable sound (via ps2 config menu in 5.19) to gain again a lot (but without sound)
