Batocera 5.19 Black Screen

Greetings, I made the update of batocera 5.18 to batocara 5.19, after the boot, the batocera screen appears, soon after black screen appears. The tetes were held on the Dell N5010 and Dell Inspiron Gaming 15. I am running through the External HD and did the test via Pen drive. Any suggestion?

note that in anyway if required, you can rollback the installation by unzipping boot.tar.xz on your sd/usb key without any data loss.

nadenislamarre On my computer the same thing happens in the version 5.19 upgrade. I returned to version 5.18. I use the default themes.

nadenislamarre video-threaded is enabled by defaut.
It seems retroarch_config located on /share/system/config/retroarch is regenerate with video_threated=true when RA is launched.
I'm trying to editing the file to add video_threated=false but after saving, when i launch RA, the file seems regenerate with default option (like video_threated=true)

Same thing right here, i make a new install disk and have the same problem, ill wait for the fix.

can somebody connect via ssh and run a report /recalbox/scripts/recalbox-support.sh and send the file created in share.

Hi Nade.
Since Batocera's 5.17 version, my x64 pc doesn't boot anymore.
I'm using an ROG Maximus V Formula, and choose Other OS already.
The boot starts, the batocera's logo screen appear, and than nothing more happens.
I have to install v5.15 to boot again, but i have to turn on/off the joystick every game I choose.
I try to boot with v5.15 and update the system, but after updated, also doesn't boot anymore.
Could you help me with that?

I had the same problem I rollback to the 5.18 and everything is ok, if I change to ALT+F2 and startx evertyhing works, maybe is the autostart? or maybe the mechanism that find and start emulation station and tty

it may be related to the gpu driver upgrade in 5.19.
i don't know why you get such black screen.
i'm upgrading again the library for a test, and building a test image to see if newer versions fixes.

You can give it a try with the modified Boot files (2) for the Beelink upper named efi.zip.
Its in case where your bios is uefi / efi, even with Legacy USB on for Pen Drive. HDD should
be something else.

nadenislamarre same problem. Retroarchcustom.cfg don’t save modification.
With video_threated=true, some emulator doesn’t work for my ati videocard.
I don’t know why this cfg is regenerate when RA is launch.

Nothing, the black screen is still persistent, and cant connect via ssh no network function.
