Black Screen on new Radeon R5 340x

Hello all,
I just picked up a new Radeon R5 340x on the super cheap and have found that after the Batocera splash screen I'm then presented with a black screen, I also can no longer access the unit over the network in Windows 10 since the most recent Batocera update, any ideas as to why this is?

Gonna try and use the beta update with 5.20 on another similar post on here, it seems to be booting up for now but still cannot access the drive in win10

all is well, I was able to load 5.20 then it prompted me with 5.19 "update" which I can only assume was the patched 5.19 to fix the video issue thanks! also it restored the roms directory access in Win10 //batocera

still really buggy on boot even after the "update" not sure why, also what would be the recommended setup to run ps2 with better performance its fairly buggy at times running on this mule emu rig, AMD A4 5300, 6GB ddr3, Radeon R5 340x, I don't expect spectacular performance but thinking I should upgrade this emu mule to a newer more powerful chipset, or is this more or less on the dev side of things?
