HDMI Output not working

Srry my bad english..

Hey guys, I’m trying to connect a laptop on TV but nothing shows up. I’ve tried to change the output on options (it gives me 2 options, but none are HDMI0) or even press Fn+F4 (that freezes the system)

So, i was wondering if it has a way to select manually the output (forcing, changing some bin, something like that) or maybe installing the graphics card driver on batocera and then it can detect the other display.

I’ve tried on another laptop and it worked there, could be an issue of my laptop? F...

So, here is the config of my laptop
HP Pavillon
Intel i7 7700HQ
12 GB Ram
Amd Radeon 2GB 500 series GDDR5

Maybe, you can try to force the main video output in bios?

I know that i have these option in my notebook.
And it forces the output to hdmi if it is connected.

I had the same problem.

Solved it by modyfing my recalbox.conf file in share/system/

Here is the line i changed : global.videomode=CEA 1 HDMI

It is in the paragraph of code below :

Set game resolution for emulators

select your mode from the command : tvservice -m [MODE]

CEA 5 HDMI : 1920x1080 @ 60Hz 16:9, clock:74MHz interlaced

CEA 4 HDMI : 1280x720 @ 60Hz 16:9, clock:74MHz progressive

use 'default' for using the default resolution

global.videomode=CEA 1 HDMI
