My batocera is installed on a 16gb memory card (i bought a new quality card just to install the Batocera) and I have a selection of games from Snes, Megadrive, GameBoy Advance and NeoGeo. Game loading was fast (average 5-6 seconds) but currently loading games on all systems is taking almost 30 seconds.
I did not unplug my memory card to use other systems in Raspberry, or use the card for other things and have not added or removed games since the first installation. I did not change settings on Batocera, but I usually save some custom game settings in Retroarch as different buttons controls (and savestates). Sometimes I apply image filters but I do manually after the game loads. I have 3 custom songs playing in the main menu and all games have covers and descriptions made by Universal XML Scraper. The performance of the games has not changed, all continue to run perfectly.
Why did it slow down? Any solution to make loading faster, as it was before?
