cannot change sound

i get sound after booting up, but when you go to the sound settings and try to adjust the volume, it always resets to "0" and sounds like it's actually defaulted to like 1000% (it's really loud on most setups). any chance we can get this fixed? thanks! edit also just FYI, i'm using the latest build (batocera-5.19-legacyxu4-20181125) on an odroid XU4

yes, this sound button is mapped to the hardware mixer. while the xu4 has no mixer, it has no effect.
the solution would be to make a software mixer like in kodi or simplylyy use your tv remote control.
