Most emulation OSes if not all exclude neogeo cd support cause the normal neogeo has most games, but neogeo cd has some exclusives and also of course the wonderful benefit of using cdda audio, the problem is also that all open source emus only load the iso and not the actual audio, except ir-mess, which one has to compile yourself for the retropie (a very troublesome endevour since it's enormous). Now somebody has managed to compile it for retropie and seperate the neogeocd module from the ir-mess package here: https://old.reddit.com/r/RetroPie/comments/a8lq2c/request_mess_binary/ - https://www.dropbox.com/s/s2qh0qkz3ugy7gd/RetroPie_NeoGeoCD.7z?dl=0
It loads neogeo cd games in the form of chds (get them from archive.org) and also supports the wonderful cdda, now my request is if someone could compile this module with x86/amd64 support and insert it into batocera, then batocera would become the only OS to run neogeo cd games in a comfortable way.
