pls be patient to wait for someone to fix it or you should do it yourself.
No one is being paid to do this.
For me, I am doing this with interesting, this issue is on my todo list but not the first priority.

I think what you are doing is almost close to the answer, why not keep trying?

I suppose that you know how to testing this on batocera via ssh.

hi i am I would like to run batocera on x96 (s905x 2gb / 16gb) model tv box. do you have any help with the software image?

I downloaded "batocera-5.13-s905-20180203" through the site and I printed it to sd card. I tried to install it on the device but it does not boot and does not work. I have tried the lakka with similar method and it works nicely.

@aresugur29 in my case, i had to rename one of the .dtb file to dtb.img
i've understood that suzuke made it more simple for the next version. if i don't get running out of the box for the next version, i'll do a wiki linked from the website.

in my case, i've :
- download the s905 image
- burn it on a usb key
- open the usbkey
- go inside the boot directory
- copy the file gxl_p212_1g.dtb and name the copy dtb.img
- boot

I did what you said. I downloaded the file "batocera-5.13-s905-20180203.img.gz". I burn it on the sd card. "copy the file gxl_p212_1g.dtb and name the copy dtb.img.
Unfortunately, it is not booting. then I tried it with s912 image in the same. s912 boot working but not systeming open. batocera picture waiting and stop. my device x96 2gb / 16 gb S905x cpu . from the device that Suzeke have

Hi, you also need to hold the reset button(inside the av output) when you power on your device on the first boot.
(use a toothpick to hold the reset button until you see the x96 logo, you only need to do this for the first boot)
- download the s905 image
- burn it on a usb key
- open the usbkey
- go inside the boot directory
- copy the file gxl_p212_1g.dtb and name the copy dtb.img
- hold the reset button and boot

s912 image is not available for S905(x) devices

Its not about being paid to do something, it is about being nice!

I bought An X96 because i know thats the one you do use too!

i have the same problem on av output and with the same box aas you..

Tried all different things and could not fix the problem... unless you fix it i cant use.

hello suzuke_github and nadenislamarre great job on making batocera work on the S905 it runs awesome!

I just got a S912 and I was thinking on using Batocera on it as well, but I am wondering if PPSSPP works on S912, as I could not make it work on my own LE branch 🙁

Actually i see no problem at all, but im trying to help, ive been testing things out long long time!

Bought different boxes to test, made lots of stuff to try to help because im sure everybody that may try cvbs output will have the same problem as me!

Then i came around to respectfully ask for solutions or tips and he said " im not being paid to do it"..that pissed me off.
