I found little time to work on s812 wetek_core porting
I solved a lot of error, adapted your mali-450 and gpu-aml code for my meson8 platform (I have to use mali-450-r5p1-01rel0-armhf)

now I'm stuck at the end of emulatiostation compile
here is the error :
/home/user/batocera.linux/output/host/lib/gcc/arm-buildroot-linux-gnueabi/5.5.0/../../../../arm-buildroot-linux-gnueabi/bin/ld: cannot find -lEGL

any idea ? a symlink missing ?

you have to make sure mali-450-r5p1-01rel0-armhf is 32bit or 64bit, i think you are using arm(32bit) build instead of aarch64.

To using aarch64, set BR2_aarch64=y in your defconfig

lib symlinks were missing in mali-450-r5p1-01rel0-armhf (opengl-meson8/usr/lib/)
now it's fixed, using another source from http://sources.libreelec.tv/devel

but
now I have another error to solve:

Hello guys.
Just to let you know about my wetek core porting test.
I manage to compile everything except retroarch and my device tree blob.
I deactivated retroarch package and dts support to have a first final image to test... That didn't booted up (just the logo and an error message telling about try pb).
Now I'm stuck on 2 problems: dtb generation from my .dtd file (not .DTS) of my kernel source git, and 2nd adaptation of genimage.cfg and copy_recalbox_archive.

I'm trying to learn from Lakka and libreelec code (since my board is supported there) but code is too different from batocera for this two subjects (dtb generation and final imagine generation)...

pls be patient to wait for someone to fix it or you should do it yourself.
No one is being paid to do this.
For me, I am doing this with interesting, this issue is on my todo list but not the first priority.

I downloaded "batocera-5.13-s905-20180203" through the site and I printed it to sd card. I tried to install it on the device but it does not boot and does not work. I have tried the lakka with similar method and it works nicely.

@aresugur29 in my case, i had to rename one of the .dtb file to dtb.img
i've understood that suzuke made it more simple for the next version. if i don't get running out of the box for the next version, i'll do a wiki linked from the website.

- burn it on a usb key
- open the usbkey
- go inside the boot directory
- copy the file gxl_p212_1g.dtb and name the copy dtb.img
- boot

Hi, you also need to hold the reset button(inside the av output) when you power on your device on the first boot.
(use a toothpick to hold the reset button until you see the x96 logo, you only need to do this for the first boot)
- download the s905 image
- burn it on a usb key
- open the usbkey
- go inside the boot directory
- copy the file gxl_p212_1g.dtb and name the copy dtb.img
- hold the reset button and boot

s912 image is not available for S905(x) devices

i have the same problem on av output and with the same box aas you..

Tried all different things and could not fix the problem... unless you fix it i cant use.

hello suzuke_github and nadenislamarre great job on making batocera work on the S905 it runs awesome!

I just got a S912 and I was thinking on using Batocera on it as well, but I am wondering if PPSSPP works on S912, as I could not make it work on my own LE branch 🙁
