batocera-emulationstation speedup loading games list

base on my experiance using emulationstation, i have problem on loading the emulationstation
it take quite long, my game is about 2000 , and its also all game contain clip art and description.
so i take alook the code, finally i able speed up abit for the process.
and also i have adapted the new themes format as current emulationstation have, so can download any themes from emustation theme site and apply on it,
and some other stuff also

can you confirm :
- the source of the coding : yourself ? retropiees ? other ?
- you compiled and tested ? should i merge it for 5.20 (you consider this as stable) or should i wait 5.21 ?

the code source is branching from batocera emulationstation
and for themes and removing eigen is merge from retropie
i try to make it as close as retropie but still there is a gap and need modified to able to get it work.
the loading game list logic is i modified for my need.
other fixing is my own code feel free to take alook,
i have compiled i use it for my self. so far my daily using is fine. so for me its stable.
but one thing that is not support by retropie themes is favorite label , i need to hide it from showing,
for release it its depend on how you see it suitable,

bullghost I personally think that VLC is a better choice than ffmpeg. But it is possible to integrate ffmpeg, the first thing to do would be to finish porting and then we can integrate ffmpeg

i thing the porting is done, with exclude video content and compatibility extra menu like image viewer, if you see something missing in porting pls let me know i will check on it
i thing for image viewer we need some default theme for it if themes came from user download/custom theme that not include image viewer.

i just thought that ffmpeg is common video codec and player use in ppsspp or xbmc ,
so it good if we can utilize it without need to add another component , but it will take time and effort for us to do.
anyway just opinion.

actually retrorama and comicbox are using carousel but not notice, need use it and can see the different

bullghost I see interesting we were on the same portage (you can find the information on my GitHub)

If you give us permission we could use your changes and then improve them little by little. We can work together on this topic, I had just integrated the support of the video a few days ago but I can integrate the changes in yours

Let me know how do you want us to organize ourselves?

i created the pr. i will do more test and validate it.
note that in general, ffmeg is better on devices like rpi/odroids/pine than vlc because it is well patches already for kodi.

donno ya why is that inputConfig can be null,
so far iam using dualshock bluetooth 2 joystick and same time and also tested with dualshock cable it work fine

i've build an rpi3 image. es won't start. crashing.
i've reverted the changes on git.

i have only tested in odroid XU4 , for rpi i not tested,
