PS2 right analog up and down are reversed/inverted

In PS2 games i have noticed, that Up and Down of right analog stick are reversed (in game "up" is "down" and "down" is "up").
In God of War for example, Kratos is doing a roll backward instead forward, when pressing the right analog stick up.

joinski Got the same issue. Any ideas how to solve it?
I tried to edit the controller settings in pcsx2 so that the right stick gots inverted to work correctly. But it seem my edits cannot be saved.
Also my right stick on the XBOX One Controller doesn't seem to work properly in pcsx2. In Dolphin all work fine.

yes, there is an easy way to fix this.

in pcsx2-config (press F1 in ES Menu, then applications) you go to controller configuration and then set:
"Left Joystick Config"
only "Reverse Ly" should be checkmarked

"Right Joystick Config"
only "Reverse Ry" should be checkmarked

Then start the game through pcsx2

joinski Many thanks. I did so and it works when i start the game direct in pcsx 2.

But is there any way to save this configuration permanent? The controls get lost when i start from emulationstation.

unfortunately at the moment there is no way to save this config permanently.

but the devs are thinking about an option in the future, to be able to save those config-changes permanently.

Hi guys. Yeah it's super annoying. I wanted to play cod 2 but it's impossible to play. I hope the developers can fix it and then play directly from emustation

Jay The Emulator is called PCSX2. It's only available for x86 and x86_64 Plattforms.
