Hi, first of all a big thank you to the developers and publishers of Batocera !!
I´m trying to run Batocera v.5.19 release in a live USB stick on a MacBook Pro laptop and can´t find a way to display sound and image vía HDMI. I´m using a Samsung SmartTV for the HDMI display output.
Hardware details:
- Batocera version: 5.19 2018/11/25 09:11 - live USB
- MacBook Pro 15" , mid 2009
- Intel Core 2 DUO 2.53GHz
- Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256Mb shared SDRAM DDR3
- Sound card: NVIDIA MCP79/7A HD Audio - Cirrus Logic CS4206A (AB77)
The funny thing is when I enter AlsaMixer mode using CTRL+ALT+F4 the image is displayed on the TV. Also AlsaMixer seems to detect properly the Cirrus sound card. I make sure all indicators are not muted (so I write the position "OO" on all of them to make sure they are ON). Sound is of course enabled on Emulation Station menu and I can hear it vía laptop built-in speakers.
Tried to force sound output vía Emulation Station to go thru HDMI, but I don´t find HDMI option available, just "AUTO" "CUSTOM" etc...
About the image issue, I tried to uncomment the line "NVIDIA-DRIVER=TRUE" in /boot/recalbox-boot.conf and save changes. Once done that, what I get on the MacBook is a black screen after the first splash image (the one with blue background). Second splash image (the white one with the joystick logo) is never displayed and the laptop screen remains black with no display at all.
Any clues/suggestions?
Thanks in advance !!!
