System crash after deleting all files on a core in emulationstation menu

Hello, I've installed the latest version of Batocera on a x86_64 notebook and had all my ROMs setup with everything working.
To end all the effort, I deleted the screenshots.

Just after deleting the last one, the UI crashed and the system got stuck in a black screen with the batocera.linux text.

Since I didn't manage to do anything, I pressed the power button on the notebook to send the shutdown command and the system turned of properly.

But after turning on again, the system won't boot neither display any error message. I can't even use Ctrl+Alt+F1 to open text mode.

Can anyone help me here? I hope I don't need to remove the HD from the notebook, flash the system again and then copy all the content over again.

Accessing the Ctrl + Alt + F3 I got the following messages:

terminate called after throwing an instance of `std::out_of_range'
what(): vector::M_range_check: __n (which is 0) >= this->size() (which is 0)
xinit: connection to X server lost

waiting for X server to shut down (II) Server terminated successfully (0). Closing log file.
