Thank you for the real good work, it seems my problems from 5.19 are all resolved.
But one question: In Dremacast Games (I tried Shenmue 1 European) the sound over HDMI has knocking-like breaks in it all the time. Is that a known issue? Because 5.2 is the first version that runs properly on my Zbox AD02, i can't reproduce it in other versions.

Did you try with another Emulator Core (reicast, libretro-reicast)?

Couple things I have noticed.

The recalbox.conf file in share_init left out PS4 controller extensions. I know its a template location pretty much but found it odd it was gone.

Odd issue that existed in previous build, with the PS4 controller in wireless mode. It will put it at player 2 by default, thus you can select the correct one to make it player one. But that will hinder PS2 and PSP for some reason. The only way i could get it to work proper was to plug it in, reboot, then remove the wire to go to wireless mode and works perfect.

About WHDload for amiga on X86, I tried to copy some files I had working on recalbox into the amiga 1200 folder. When I launch a game (.uae) I have a screen with a moving floppy disk and with written 3.1 rom but nothing happens. To be more precise, I have in amiga1200 folder for each rom:
- a file named romname.uae (empty file)
- a folder named romname.uae (containing different files and folders)

Is this the good way to proceed? That would be nice if someone takes some time to explain how to proceed (and maybe useful for other users). Thanks!!

joinski Yes i tried now, the reicast emulator with the reicast core cause that sound. libretro and reicast core don't. But there the sound and the performance is quite slow. Same at PS2 games (look my other thread).

I am working on a how-to for a PiGRRL (ZeroW)-addon based on the 5.20 RC1 Image.
It will be finished and verified this weekend.

A "special" PiGRRL image would be interesting, since Adafruit only provides an old RetroPie image for the old PiZero (nonwireless).

whats wrong with the mk_arcade_joystick.ko ?
if i try to enable gpio-buttons on batocera i got a exception during booting,
i replaced th binary against the latest version from recalbox (xmas-beta), that came with 13 button-support (Hotkey) and no exception is shown on the bootscreen,
but i still have no working gpio-buttons.

Hello everyone!

Did someone try the Atari 5200? I always have a black screen (sometimes after a menu where I select a kind of floppy). I tried different bios. Could someone check if it's working for him/her?

No problems with Atari 2600 or 7800.

PS: still no success with amiga WHDload on X86 by the way...

chris256 Make sure your 5200 ROMs are named as .a52, not as .bin. When Roms do not load, try pulling Joystick down to select a ROM format.
X86/X64 do not support WHD (yet?).

Kugelblitz Thabk you for your reply! In fact, the extension is a52 inside a zip file (rom intro). Does it work on your side on X86? Concerning WHDLoad, what is strange is that FS-UAE used in batocera seems to support it according to their website but I do not understand how to proceed:

i think your system (Zbox AD02) is too weak.
Especially PS2 needs a performant CPU (i5 at least i believe).

I don't have my .a52 in ZIPs so I can't say. If Screen stays black, push Joystick/pad down and select 32KB 5200 Cartridge (for example for Ballblazer). Most other ROMs work immediately.

hey friends... anyone with problems in configurations? like shaders, overlays or aspect ration problems? in the 5.20 update almost all off my individual and core configs are lost here... like ratio provided by core, my custom overlays including your configs like opacity and size... and now i'm tring to reconfig but the congi are lost because i received a message "failed to save configs"...

i'm considering back to the old version... i have a image file from a previous version... i will try back and tell you here if this solves the problem...

Atari 5200 theme is missing.

Found a typo in config.txt or was it in retroarch.cfg ?!
(a comment with " ... are are …" at the end of the file)

NeoGeo seems to be broken (rpi0) going to inspect it deeper this evening.
