marcelosofth Hi friends, which program is compatible to save SVG files that Batocera recognizes? Ps. I used Corel Draw and Inkscape, but the Batocera opens with image problems in the menu. I tested 2 types of files, the CONSOLE.SVG AND GAME.SVG
ottohlc marcelosofth Ratte You do not need to create .svg file in themes. You can also create a background with jpg or png file. If you examine the themes I have edited with jpg-png you can see the background.
Ratte Inkscape is ok for the job. I used it for converting only, For the Image itself i use xnconv to produce a coloroptimized png Image. Painting is done with MS-paint. Examples "Amiga CD32" & "C=64DTV": https://forum.recalbox.com/post/103565 https://forum.recalbox.com/post/103566
marcelosofth I've used Inkscape, but as an example of Mega Drive I'm using a mix of vector with image for the label, does Batocera only show .svg files that contain vector and size below 100kb? Ps: See this example in the link, if you can download and analyze where my error is, I thank you! https://www.sendspace.com/file/uj5gqt
Ratte As far as i can see, it only displays svg, but the size can be bigger… The CD32 console is 251kb, the controller 166kb and the game 55kb. The C64DTV console 308kb. If you use inkscape to convert a png to svg, remember that the png is allways in the background behind the svg. You must delete the png by hand for "clean" svg. If is also helpfull to split the picture in different parts and join the produced smaller svgs to one svg. The result is smaller and quality is better. Here you can take a look at the amigacd32 and c64dtv graphics, splitted parts and the svg files. https://www103.zippyshare.com/v/Yt6euwDn/file.html
