Background audio not playing

Hi there.

I updated to the latest version of Batocera today and noticed that the background audio is no longer working.

The only way I can get it to work is to go into audio settings, turn volume up to 100% and “auto” audio source.
Then, I need to run a game (any game) and exit before it comes back.

Resetting my Odriod looses the settings.

I have tried manually setting the audio in the configuration file, but this does not fix the issue.

hum strange that you loose it after reboot. i've have a check on my xu4, but on other plateform it worked for me recently.

Ce soir je fais des essais avec le boîtier OGST et, partant d'un OS tout frais : au premier démarrage j'ai bien la musique de fond, au second je ne l'ai plus alors que la seule chose que j'ai changé c'est la langue : Anglais -> Français (puis reboot)

I can confirm this is also an issue for me with the sound not playing on the Odroid XU4.
