Computer doesn't poweroff since 5.17

Hello,
since v5.17, the shutdown or fast shutdown options don't really power off my computer : the fans and power supply are still on.
I guess this is a known linux issue regarding acpi management.
Is adding "acpi=force apm=power_off" somewhere in a cfg file would help ?

you need a custom.sh file-.

for this create a text file and copy this comand .
sed -i s/'^{shd2:06:wait:\/bin\/umount} -a -r -f/shd2:06:wait:\/bin\/umount -a -r/' '/etc/inittab' &

save file as SH extension . name file to custom.sh

on batocera press F1 move this custom.sh file to Share/system .
after moved the file press this key combination.

STRL+ALT+F3
STRL+ALT+DEL

it will ask for reboot and you get that problem solved .

Thank you for the help, but it doesn't work...
I reinstalled vanilla 5.18 in search for a similar file without success.
So i guess the technical improvements introduced since 5.19 must have induced something in acpi management.

Paracelsius this reboot repair SH is for batocera , not sure if works on vanille ..and you need create this "custom.sh" file .

By "vanilla", i mean fresh install ;-)
I created the "custom.sh" file with no result.
I did a cut/paste of your string in notepad with windows, saved it as custom.sh (removing the .txt extension of course).
I then moved the file with winscp into share/system folder

sed -i s/'shd2:06:wait:\/bin\/umount -a -r -f/shd2:06:wait:\/bin\/umount -a -r/' '/etc/inittab' &

Is this the correct command or is there a mistake ?

dont use the winscp. just press F1 inside batocera and yoú can move file inside files manager from batocera .,after you need that 2 keys combinations ..if wont works the problem is other .
