I.m trying to install on a PC. I installed by wiping my hard drive of all of its partitions and then flashing the Batocera image onto it. I checked with disk manager and saw that initial partition did exist. Afterwards, I plugged the hard drive into my media computer and booted up. I waited until the main screen with the game systems showed up, and then configured networking and tried to load games via WiFi. It gave me the “not enough room” message. I checked in the system settings information menu and “disk usage” just has “N/A” next to it. I removed the hard drive again and used disk manager to verify that the original partition was there, but no additional partitions had been created.
I tried the whole process again, gave it about ten minutes, and then quit by using the shutdown option (not the fast shutdown). i rebooted and still did not a second partition as shown in disk manager.
Is there a way I can force the partition to be created. Maybe if I could get an image of an already installed version with partitions already created, I can can just adjust the size of the second partition? I’ve got an 8TB hard drive - could the size be preventing the partition creation?
Thanks!
