Asking: How to get Wii games work on X controllers

Hello,

This would be my first post on this Forum. I am currently enjoying my installation of Batocera on my AMD System. My humble respect to the Developers.

I have encountered my first issue with the System. I can't seem to make my controller work for the Wii. I am using a Logitech F710 wireless controller on X mode. I do managed to make the emulation work, and ran the game only up to the point where it says Wii remote.

Would it be possible to make this controller work on Wii. We did managed to make it work under Dolphin on Windows, but that was a different story. I do like the idea of having all of my favorite emulation on 1 dedicated machine.

Depends what you want. Wii remote and Nunchuck works good with a Mayflash Dolphinbar as mouse emulator for all systems that support mouse. I use it mostly for my mame shooting games, never tested it with a Wii drive wheel function, but for the Mayflash price under 20 Euro it is worth testing.

Dragu : Thank you for your reply, although I'm not very familiar with the Wii remote. All I want to play are games like Super Mario Galaxy using my X controller.

Can I use a mouse as a somewhat pointer instead? I would like to try it out if its possible. I can't afford adding new peripherals to our Box other than my X controller, a mouse and keyboard setup.

@Dragu : Thank you, I've read the thread and no wonder mine doesn't work. Although it was for an earlier version, the new ver 5.20 Dev nadenislamarre has already implemented a work around. I will be doing this later.
