Hardware advice.

I have a friend who wants to build a PC just to run Batocera and play systems up to GameCube and Dreamcast. He already has a i5 3570 CPU with 6gb memory. What would be a good graphics card to put in the system that would meet his needs and doesn't cost a fortune? He's looked at used GT 1030s but is not sure if that would be powerful enough to run GameCube or Dreamcast. Any recommendations?

yelever for GameCube and Dreamcast the onboard Intel GPU of the i5 should do well.
I would just give it a try.

Hi,

I use a i5 3.th Generation with a Zotac GT 1030 (DDR5). All PSP games are running perfect with 2x resolution, also almost every Gamecube and Dreamcast games at 2x resolution. PS2 with 2x res. roundabout 3/4 of tested games. Without the graphics card I have to play with the settings or reduce the resolution to native (1x).

Got a 1060 3gb which might go in my PC and put the my 1050ti in the friends PC. Saw some tests online suggesting to 1060 is better than the 1050ti
