Blackscreen after the joystick batocera logo happens.

did you uncomment the line #nvidia-drivers=true in the root of the USB flash drive, where you installed Batocera on? You have to plug the stick into another PC to see the file.

joinski I can use the same PC I have win 10 on it too just booting to USB, where exactly am I looking to do this at? Not to familiar with it

PsychoMantis the first one you need to download the standart version os batocera .
after edit #nvidia-driver=true to nvidia-driver=true .

dont use wifi, use direct connection whit ethernet kabel .

about hdd , tray choosing until it saves you need restart system .-

about sound bether you user DVI converter do hdmi . in the case press STRG+ALT+F4 and you enter on your sound configs, press f6 choose your sound card. activate M to 00 .
go back and up the sound volume from your soundcard line .

Well it seems to be working now here's some other questions I got, I put in my current information for my wifi ssid and key but I get no connection. Question two, I set my storage device to a set partition for my roms it says it's going to reset and when it does it goes back to internal but the one I set originally. Question three, I'm trying to have the sound come out of the TV not the PC's built in speaker i try the hdmi 2 option in the sound settings because I figured it might be the same as the tv has it at but doesnt work even tried the other hdmi's in the sound setting and nothing seems to work.

What shader is used for the new default overlays/bezels?

nadenislamarre Yeah but... do you use a shader in combination with that by default? I thought I've seen an curvation, or is it an illusion?

but found no information abut a shader

Its necessary to separate Bezels and shaders. As Bezels have just the role to hide borders, mostly on large screens. Or if you want upside screen look for some mame games. Personally I dont need.
Shaders can transform your whole game images to something else. So some Mame cabinets had mirrors inside with inverted game scope fixed on the side or vertical.
Specific shaders can allow to modify and flip the image. Or you can use shaders to transform single pixels into line of pixels, so giving a more high resolution aspect as the original game image. Most are already in /recalbox/share_init/shaders but you can put your own also in, lets say /recalbox/share/myshaders/ and activate in Retroarch Menu, just for 1 specific game or for a complet game console.

Dragu Ich wollte ja nur wissen, ob mit den neuen default bezels von batocera auch gleichzeitig ein shader als default eingestellt oder verknüpft, also benutzt wird. Anscheid reden wir alle mal wieder aneinander vorbei 🙂

shaders and bezels are 2 differents things. you can apply both, one of them or none of them
