Troubles and working stuff

Just made a Batocera box from a (not so old) PC.
Instead of installing it I just DDed the iso to the SSD, and it works.

Problems so far:

I'd like to add "discard" option to keep my SSD safe but fstab is automagically generated on boot.
I've added a 500GB secondary hard disk (for roms'n'stuff), I choose NTFS because ntfs-3g does support folder compression and that could be REALLY useful with ISO (like PCEngine CD for example). Trouble is: batocera doesn't recognize / mount NTFS volumes by itself, I've to mount them at boot. It wouldn't be that bad if I had a persistent FSTAB but that's generated on boot (like /mnt and /media) so I'm a bit struck there.
SCUMMVM doesn't seems to work.

fstab is not generated at boot.
your fstab was not saved.
batocera is like a cdrom, if you modify a system file, in fact, it is not done on the cdrom, just in memory.
use /recalbox/scripts/recalbox-saveoverlay.sh to save system files.

batocera is supposed to mount automatically ntfs partition. you see nothing if you press f1 ?
note that you will not see ntfs partition into fstab, that is normal.
i've not tested it recently, but it worked last time i did. i got no bad feedback on it recently. can you show me your logs/es* logs after running a game ?

I had to format the NTFS partition again, now works.

Other stuff I'm seeing:
1. missing rom (firmware). Everything seems missing from the GUI, but the files are there. Gave me a bit of a headache but I managed to get to kickstart.
2. I go to kickstart, and then nothing. It seems (seen via "ps") that batocera passes the .UAE file as "floppy image", so the emulator is trying to boot a config file, and fails.

PS: Where those log/es files are supposed to be ?
