Screen goes to out of range

I loaded batocera 32 bit and 64 bit onto a flash drive and hooked them into my Dell optiplex 380 and 780 and both did the same thing. Screen went black showed batocera loading in the top right corner and then screen flashes and says out of range. Tried fixing it and on different monitors same issue any ideas?

The issues I was having appear to be a problem with batocera.linux v5.20 (both x86 and x64)
I installed v5.19 x64 to the same 16gb USB flash drive, and this worked correctly on the Dell Optiplex 780.

You could try installing v5.19 instead and see if that works.

I was experiencing the same issue on a 780 when using a VGA cable, out of range occurred.
I also tried it with the DisplayPort output adapted to either DVI or HDMI input on multiple monitors, and would still get a black screen, though no out of range message displayed on monitor.

VGA and DisplayPort are the only graphical outputs on this 780 and to my knowledge it does not have a graphics card, only onboard graphics.
