Gamecube games will not launch?

I'm having a hard time getting the Gamecube to work on my laptop. Previously, i had it on my USB thumbdrive and it worked just fine, but i was without internet for the last week so i was tinkering around with the HDD and tried to split partition my drive so i could dual boot but somewhere along the way the BootMGR was damaged/deleted? not sure if that's contributing, but either way i went ahead and installed Batocera on the internal HDD. It worked just fine, i was able to load a few 3DS games fine but NONE of my Gamecube games work. Before i know at least legend of zelda wind waker worked but all it does is shows a black then white screen and returns to the menu. I'm using an HP Pavilion laptop, 64 bit system.

recalbox.config isues . reset configs to default .that happens after update or confilict on the config file . you need create a new or or reset configuracions from retroarch .

Thanks for the reply GameCast! I was able to get it working last night (late lol). Apparently i did something with the libretro under game settings. Matching both of these to auto seemed to do the trick. Now the next issue; i can't get my wii games to work with my PS3 controller 🙁 It works just fine on wii games that support gamecube controllers but not games that need the wiimote, mainly the ones that you hold the remote horizontal like New Super Mario Bros, Kirby etc. I did go into the recalbox config and change the wiimotes to 1 where it says it will emulate the wiimotes with game pads but with no luck. Any ideas how i may be able to make this work?

EDIT: So, i was able to add in controls through Applications/Dolphin. I set the game pad to work like it should and saved the profile. Launched the game inside the dolphin emulator while in the file manager and it worked great, but as soon as i closed the file manager and tried booting the game from the main menu it still shows wiimote 1 disconnected.

the way i use to clean reset is.

booting batocera , and create new folder recalbox to another HDD selecting the HDD i want create the folder mentioned before.
after that finde reclabox.config and replace .
you find on folder
recalbox/systems/ file name recalbox.conf just replace the new whit the old one .
after boot again and choose the drive you had using before and you have a clean recalbox config file, you just need config gamepad again . and you will see ps2 runs like a charm.

Ah gotcha, thanks! I'll give that a shot. I actually didn't have any problems at all with the PS2, its the Wii i'm having problems with ATM. Seems like there would be something that would make the dolphin config's talk to the recalbox config to sync them up? Its weird i was able to get it working when opening dolphin inside of the applications folder but not the main launch menu.

So after messing with it for a WHILE a few days ago, now the gamecube and wii both wont boot up. They both just start with a blank screen and go back to the menu. Can anyone possibly give me a step by step on how to fix this?
