XBox One Controller

Hi!
I've installed batocera after a long and painful setup with Retropie. I was surprised that -almost- everything worked out of the box, without issues, big kudos for that.
One thing however doesn't seem to work. I could pair and setup my Xbox One controller via bluetooth instantly and it works very well, in menus and in games also, however my hotkey doesn't seem to work. At the configuring stage it's recognized my XBox button as hotkey, all seemed fine, but it seems that it doesn't work in NES games. No rewind function, can't reset the game, can't quit to menu, it doesn't save states, it's like I don't press the hotkey at all.
How could I get it to work?

you should retry to configure it in the menu controller.

I've tried reconfiguring, the only thing that doesn't work is the Xbox button, no matter what I map there, nothing responds. If I configure my hotkey elsewhere it works. I've set it up on the right trigger, it works now, it's just confusing a little bit.

In menus is functional, just not in games.

use the select button as hotkey.
i know there is one circonstance in which xbox button doesnt work, but im not sure how to reproduce. ill try on a rpi. i guess the driver evolved on x86 with more recent linux
