Slow PS2 games

Hi. So I just downloaded Batocera (current version) for the 1st time and installed the BIOS PACK that "GameCast" posted in the following thread: https://batocera-linux.xorhub.com/forum/d/1954-ps2/13

So I tried to play Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and everything was running good until the fight beggins. It's slow and laggy.

Im running this thing on a:

ASUS VIVOBOOK V500CA
Intel i7
8 GB RAM
INTEL HD GRAPHICS 4000

any suggestions?

just think about ..

rpcsx2 ist old version .. you need to respect the compatibility list and your GPU is not the best .. i had a xfx HD 6570 2 gb and i got some issues to emulate ps2 , now whit HD 4000 !!! i am sure if you try on pc emulator this game will work . cause pc emu is a bether lather version of this emu on batocera .

My suggestion ?
DON'T, the Interl HD Graphics 4000 can't handle it.
I destroied mine by emulating PS1 and MUGEN (played a lot)
And guess what : Street Fighter EX plus Alpha killed my Intel HD and I had to renew the motherboard.

So I booted Batocera, went to the SCRIPT file and configured the PS2 emulator to its lowest settings. Its playable, but pixelated and ugly. So I installed the Microsoft Windows version on Windows 10, 64 BITS wich is PCSX2 1.4.0, with the BIOS Pack you uploaded and now is running smoothly without downgrading the settings.
