Did it really burn your fingers or just felt like it would burn?
Because depending on how sensitive you are, even 60 degrees can feel burning hot.
And 60 degrees are no problem for GPUs (and CPUs... they can heat up to 90 degrees without taking damage, as long as they do not run over a long period of time (more than several weeks in a row) with such temperatures).
